HOLIDAY PARTY
HOLIDAY PARTY
Join us to celebrate the year at our Holiday Party for Women+ (gender expansive folk welcome) solopreneurs, entrepreneurs, small biz owners & leaders of Windham County at a festive gathering at the gorgeous Newfane Inn. This in-person event is your chance to come together in community to network, share stories & successes of the year, and enjoy delicious food and drinks together. Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with others in the area who understand the unique challenges and joys of being in business as a woman+, and get into the holiday spirit with us at the dreamiest spot in Newfane, just 15 minutes up Rte 30 from Brattleboro. Ample free parking.
I am encouraging everyone to dress up/wear your favorite outfit - there is absolutely no pressure to do so, but living in the country there are few opportunities to put on a fancy dress and I am seizing this one! Now to decide between green & gold velvet...
Your ticket includes light appetizers, dinner (soups & salad), and dessert. There will be vegan/gf options. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
Tickets will be on sale until Sunday, December 1st at 11:59pm. If you are not able to make that timeline, please contact Luella to see about a ticket, as we will need to give a headcount for the meal. Thank you for understanding!
Biz Buzz Meetups in Southern Vermont
The Biz Buzz Meetups are monthly networking events for women and gender expansive folk who feel comfortable in women-centered spaces where we can be witnessed in community, share resources and encouragement, and connect around the joys and growth of solo/entrepreneur, small business, and leadership life in southern Vermont. I send out a newsletter to this group once a month with details on the upcoming meetup(s), announcements shared by group members, and occasionally links to resources.
We follow the model created by Mieko at VTWomenpreneurs, where the first part of the meetup is introductions (structured, which I guide). Then afterwards there is time for connected conversations.
We also have a Slack Channel for those who want to stay connected in-between the monthly meetups, you can request the invite link above. Our local directory is a shared doc where we can enter our business info for each other to find.
The Biz Buzz events are posted on the Downtown Brattleboro Alliance Calendar as well as published in the Common’s Calendar and I share about them on Instagram: o0.f.e.r.n.0o
